Why and When do New Zealand Mormons Pray?

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormons) in Tauranga, New Zealand recently took to the Internet to share with others why and when they pray.

At a conference for the Church in Tauranga last week, members and guests were invited to use YouTube, Facebook and other social media to share with others their feelings about prayer.

Latter-day Saint leader, Francis Fitzpatrick, said, "It was an opportunity to actively involve Church members to participate in the stake conference evening session that showed how easy and simple it is to share a positive and uplifting message through social media."
