VIDEO: Introducing Mormons in the Pacific

A new video produced by Brigham Young University student Madison Houghton offers an introduction to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its members in the South Pacific.

There are over half a million Latter-day Saints who call the South Pacific home.

They are plumbers, builders, teachers, politicians, lawyers, police officers, students, office workers, farmers and much more. They are part of the social fabric of Australian, New Zealand and other South Pacific communities. And have been for a long time.

The project was initiated by former missionaries in the Pacific, Steven and Dorie Thomsen. Dr Thomsen is a journalism professor at Brigham Young University.
