Students and leaders excited about the donation

Latter-day Saint Charities partnered with Australia and New Zealand-based charity, Pacific Assist, to bring desks and chairs to Tailulu College in Neiafu, Vava’u, this month.

Local Latter-day Saint leaders, Siale Matavaha ‘Eliesa, Lutoviko Saipa’ia and Silongo Samani were in attendance when the school furniture was delivered.

Soape Faka’i, principal of Tailulu College Vava’u, expressed his appreciation for the donated furniture.

"These chairs and desks will help our students...and will make learning easier," he said.

President ‘Eliesa said to the students: "Make good use of the desks and chairs to enhance your learning. Focus and pursue your individual goals in education to be successful, and then in turn render your service to others and influence them to grow as well."
