Local leaders of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints report all members and missionaries safe.  However, homes of two members have been swept away as a result of flood waters.

The Church’s White River Chapel sustained damage when a backyard retaining wall collapsed and debris flowed into the yard and building.

Through the combined efforts of local Church members and 12 missionaries the mud and debris were removed.

Worship services and other meetings were held as scheduled on Sunday, 6 April.
