Tauranga New Zealand Latter-day Saints Gather for Conference

Members and guests reflect on strengthening faith, family and community

Twice a year, members and friends of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Tauranga, New Zealand gather for a special conference.

These meetings are different to the weekly worship services that take place in congregations across Tauranga and in nearby towns.

A stake is a group of congregations of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in a geographical area.

Visitors are always welcome at these semi-annual stake conferences and weekly worship services.

Following the latest Tauranga New Zealand Stake Conference, on 2-3 March, visiting Church leader, Elder Carl R. Maurer, talked with Tauranga stake president, Alister F. Fitzpatrick.
