President Ballard, Other Church Leaders, Teach Children, Youth and Adults in Facebook Live Event

President M. Russell Ballard, Elder Gary E. Stevenson and Elder Carl B. Cook joined with members of the Pacific Area Presidency and their wives in a Facebook Live event last night in Sydney, Australia.

  

President Ballard is Acting President of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Elder Stevenson is also a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles.

Elder Carl B. Cook is a member of the Presidency of the Seventy. 

The Pacific Area Presidency comprises Elder O. Vincent Haleck, Elder Craig A. Cardon and Elder Ian S. Ardern. 

Also participating in the event were Sister Peggy Haleck, Sister Deborah Cardon and Sister Paula Ardern.

Members of the Church and others from Australia and New Zealand, and other countries tuned in via the social media platform.

President Ballard led a wide-ranging conversation on subjects such as how an individual can increase faith in God and His Son Jesus Christ, how to strengthen marriages and other family relationships, and practical ideas for responding to the challenges of life.

One viewer, Utu Lavea, posted during the event: "Very uplifting. We're so grateful for the gospel which helps us on our journey back to our heavenly home. We love and sustain our prophets and apostles. Thank you."
