Otara Latter-day Saints and Friends Gather for Semi-Annual Stake Conference 

Members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints the world over meet for gerneral conference twice each year, in April and October.

In addition, congregations near each other join together for what is called stake conference twice a year. A stake is a group of Latter-day Saint congregations in a geographical area.

This week members and friends of the Auckland New Zealand Otara Stake of the Church are meeting for stake conference.

Conference sessions will focus on living the gospel of Jesus Christ and will include sacred music and inspired messages.

Other actvities include leadership training, family history workshops, a class for young adults and a dance.
