New Doctor's Love for Family and Fiji Help Focus His Future

Latter-day Saint Nemani Junior Delaibatiki graduated recently from Otago University's prestigious Medical School with an eye on honouring his family and their love for Fiji, according a report in the Fiji Sun.

"I feel strongly about my links with Fiji through my parents.  They have always encouraged me and my siblings to return to Fiji and  contribute to the country," said Dr Delaibatiki.

He also credited his mother for his accomplishment of earning a Bachelor of Medicine. "I owe it to my mother for what I've achieved.  She has always been a champion of education."

Crediting others and serving others in part of who he is. Part way through earning his medical degree he took a 2-year hiatus to be a full-time missionary of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
