Mormons Invite Tongans to Celebrate Risen Christ

During this Easter season members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints are celebrating the life and resurrection of Jesus Christ by inviting Tongans and others throughout the world to follow His teachings to find peace.

Posters, banners, pass along cards (shown below) and advertisements on buses encourage Tongans to find peace by following the “principles of peace” taught by the “Prince of Peace”, Jesus Christ.

The Church has produced a two-minute video in 33 languages explaining the Saviour’s role as the “Prince of Peace” and a series of eight short videos introducing the “principles of peace” that He taught. The videos are available at Mormon.org.

This is the fourth consecutive Easter that the Church has, online, encouraged its members and others around the world to share hopeful messages about Jesus Christ. This year the messages focus on the principles of faith, God’s word, compassion, gratitude, prayer, forgiveness, repentance and hope.
