Last Sunday evening (14 June), ABC Radio’s “Sunday Nights” program featured an interview with Neville Rochow SC, an adjunct professor at Sydney’s University of Notre Dame and adjunct associate professor at the University of Adelaide.
ABC’s introduction to the interview on its website states: “As we mark the 800th anniversary of the sealing of Magna Carta, which freedoms have we secured and which do we still need to secure?
"Law professor and senior representative of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Australia, Neville Rochow SC, joins Noel Debien to talk rights and responsibilities. Professor Rochow addresses the balance between free speech and offence under Australian law, and what he sees is a gradual encroachment of the rights of minority groups to speak up in an increasingly secular state.”

Professor Rochow has over two decades of experience as barrister, being appointed silk in 2008. He has spoken and published nationally and internationally.
He and his wife, Penny, are about to embark on a government relations mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Brussels.
