Latter-day Saint Leader Supports Wellington Multicultural Event

"We are strong and we are Kiwis"

Director of Public Affairs for Wellington, Hawke's Bay and the South Island of New Zealand, for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Tania Torea, recently attended a meeting of the Multicultural Council of Wellington.

This is what she posted on Facebook after the event:

"At a glance, you might see our unique and wonderful differences; yet we are united as women, and we share so much in common. We love, we mourn, we create, we are challenged, we feel pain, we feel joy, we are nurturers, we are educators, we are caring, we are sisters, we are strong and we are Kiwis."
