The Temple View Project Team released a new video today, providing an update on the project including news about homes being constructed in the Hamilton suburb.
Former Church College of New Zealand student, teacher, administrator — and now the Temple View Project Site Manager — Ken Williams, features in the video.
“When I first came here as a student in 1961,” he says, “I thought it was a beautiful place. To see the work that had been done by the labour missionaries, how they’d built the school…and I believe that after 50 years it has been a blessing in our lives. As a student, as a teacher, as a member of the administration, and also for my children to come here.
“And now as we look forward, I believe it will be a continued blessing, with the new housing and the new developments, with the vision which is taking place for this area.”
