Elder O. Vincent Haleck Presides at Arue Tahiti Stake Conference

Elder O. Vincent Haleck, First Counselor in the Pacific Area Presidency of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, presided at last weekend's Arue Tahiti Stake Conference.

Elder Haleck is a member of the three-person leadership council, the Pacific Area Presidency, whose members oversee the ecclesiastical and temporal affairs of the Church from Australia to Papua New Guinea, to French Polynesia and as far south as New Zealand.

When members of the Area Presidency -- and other travelling ministers, known as Area Seveneties -- preside at conferences such as this one, they teach the gospel of Jesus Christ.
