The David O. McKay Stake and Cultural Events Centre of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Hamilton suburb of Temple View is among the finalists for this year's New Zealand Architecture Awards.

Adam Aalders, director of the Temple View project, said, “We’re delighted to be shortlisted for this award along with such excellent company as our fellow nominees.

"The David O. McKay Stake and Cultural Events Centre is a beautiful building with a very simple purpose—to serve the Latter-day Saints and wider community of Temple View and Hamilton by offering facilities where faith and families are strengthened.”
