BYU Living Legends Performing Group Welcomed to New Zealand

Members of the Brigham Young University “Living Legends” cultural performing group received a warm welcome when they arrived in New Zealand this morning.

After touching down at Auckland International Airport they were greeted by students from Kelston Girls’ College and other well-wishers.

The group met students and faculty at The University of Auckland at its Fale Pasifika for lunch, with some of the visitors dancing and singing for guests.

Tonight the group will speak at a special devotional meeting at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Redoubt Road, Manukau Stake Centre.

Tomorrow the visitors will meet journalists at a media breakfast in Mangere. Thursday and Friday evenings the BYU Living Legends will perform at Holy Trinity Cathedral in Parnell, and the Vodafone Event Centre in Manukau.

Further shows and other community events follow in the coming days in Hamilton, Palmerston North, Wellington, Porirua, Nuku’alofa and Apia.
