As the Tide Rolled Out Volunteers Rolled in to Clean Porirua Harbour

On 14 September, missionaries and members from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints worked alongside others from the community to clean 5 kilometres of coastline in the Porirua Harbour.

Ten tyres, around 20 construction cones and 50 bags of rubbish were retrieved from the harbour mudflats at low tide.

Missionaries from the Wellington New Zealand Mission spend their days actively looking for ways to serve the community as well as teaching the restored gospel of Jesus Christ.
