Vanuatu Youth Spread Christmas Cheer at Vila Central Hospital

Youth from the Etas Ward (congregation) of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints gained a greater appreciation of the gift of giving on Christmas day as they visited sick children in the Vila Central Hospital.

Youth came to spread joy, lift spirits and brigten faces as they visited each child and gave them a small gift for Christmas.

Church leader Tony Hilliman accompanied the youth on this special visit and made the following comments.

"We acted upon the command of the Lord Jesus who said in the Bible, ‘Suffer not the little children to come to me, for such is the Kingdom of God’, so we did just that by the visitation to the VCH Children’s Ward and brighten up every little faces and pray for them and their healings as well as all the doctors and nurses of the Vila Central Hospital."

This was one of many service activities around the world during the month of December, inpired by the #LIGHTtheWORLD Christmas initiative.
