First Presidency Present Christmas Devotional

"Carrying forward a tradition of many years, the First Presidency presented their annual Christmas devotional broadcast December 2 before a congregation in the Conference Center [in Salt Lake City, United States] and to a worldwide audience tuned in via satellite, over-the-air, cable, and Internet transmission," according to a report on lds.org.

"The Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, directed by Mack Wilberg and Ryan Murphy, with Richard Elliott at the organ, performed an assortment of Christmas hymns."

This Sunday [9 December 2012], the Christmas devotional will be re-broadcast in the Latter-day Saint meetinghouse on Sunset Road, Mairangi Bay, Auckland. Other Mormon congregations may rebroadcast the program on the same day, or on another date.

The Christmas devotional will also be available later this week on lds.org.
