Fiji President Recognises Mormon Teenager for Service to Family

The Honourable President of Fiji, His Excellency Ratu Epeli Nailatikau, recently presented 15-year-old Selina Boila and six other young people with Fiji Children’s Awards.

The awards are given annually to children who overcome difficult situations in their lives.

Selina Boila is a student at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints’ Church College in Suva.

Church College vice-principal, Sa lote Maiwiriwiri, nominated Selina for the award after learning that she sells flowers after school to raise money to support her disabled father and younger brother.
