1940 Census

AUCKLAND, New Zealand — 

FamilySearch has released a new website that provides images from the 1940 United States Census, released last week. The website allows users to explore images based on location. Records are indexed by a community of volunteers and currently only a few states' records are available. The images will continually be uploaded and made available for free.
