It was a small thing really. Just some Post-It notes stuck on the bottom of a computer screen at the office. But the message was heartfelt and sincere, and as the recipient said, “How great is that!”
The notes were expressions of gratitude by children to their hard-working and beloved father. The messages speak for themselves.
To show their gratitude at Christmas time In Fiji, young single adults of the Suva 3rd Ward (local Church unit) decided to go out carolling despite the heavy rains in the Suva capital over recent days. Armed with umbrellas, hymn books and candles they visited 10 families to share their the message of the Saviour and to share with these families the spirit of Christmas. The families visited were surprised as they weren’t expecting any visits because of the weather.
David Atalifo the most senior said “At first we weren’t sure whether to go ahead as it was raining hard, but our first stop at the Stake President’s home (a local Church leader) and seeing how the family's faces lit up motivated us to continue to light up other families’ lives with our messages of the Saviour. All the families visited were still awake when we arrived and it sure felt good to share the birth of the Saviour with others."
